Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Marouane Fellaini are all fit after recovering from various knocks and sprains picked up over the international break, while Romelu Lukaku is “ready with a little risk” according to Jose Mourinho in Friday’s presser.
The United boss, indeed, said that Fellaini and Martial “will play”.
Luke Shaw is suspended for Saturday’s meeting with Crystal Palace so Ashley Young will presumably switch over to left-back – the void on the opposite flank likely being filled by Antonio Valencia or the fit-again Diogo Dalot.
No update was given on Eric Bailly, who reportedly picked up a knock with Cote D’Ivoire over the international break.
Rashford, Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata are all in with a shot of featuring on the right flank, while Alexis Sanchez could return to lead the line again as he did at Bournemouth in Gameweek 11 – although Lukaku and Rashford are, of course, options as the focal point of the United attack.
Fred, Ander Herrera and Scott McTominay are all alternatives in the middle of the park, meanwhile.
