Mouth watering deal offered- Chelsea could agree shock $197.63m deal for World Cup ace

Barcelona and Chelsea lock horns in signing Eden Hazard from Chelsea with reports confirming Barca have made contact with the Belgium international.

The response was positive as they confirmed that Hazard wants to leave Chelsea this summer and the chance to sign for Barcelona is something which interests the player.

Barcelona reportedly shifted attention to Hazard after failing to lure Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann to the Camp Nou.

Barca are increasing their transfer budget as they look to offload unwanted squad members. Paulinho’s move to China was the one which allowed Barça to make contact with Hazard.

The Daily Mail claims Real Madrid are ready to make a £150 million ($197.63m) bid for the Belgium international who have just a year left in his contract having refused to sign a new deal pending when Chelsea resolve their managerial situation.

Hazard spoke of his admiration for Real this summer, and admitted Los Blancos were ‘a club who make you dream’.

Chelsea have so far failed to convince Hazard to put pen to paper on a new contract, despite offering the playmaker £300,000 a week to remain at the club.

The Blues will resist any move to lure Hazard away, but Real Madrid are confident a bid of £150m is too good to turn down.

Madrid sees him as a perfect replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo who has agreed a £90m move to Juventus this summer.
