Reports making the round claims, AC Milan are prepared to step up their chase for Aaron Ramsey after snatching Ivan Gazidis from Arsenal, according to CalcioMercato.
Ramsey has entered the final year of his contract at the Emirates and Gazidis had come under fire from Arsenal supporters for failing to get him to commit to a new deal.
That leaves the Welsh international with the potential to quit the club on a free transfer next summer – and the Gunners at the mercy of one of their top stars for the second successive season.
The Gunners chief executive has confirmed that he will be joining Milan on December 1, having been offered a lucrative contract by the Italian outfit’s new owners.
Gazidis was largely credited with restructuring Arsenal’s backroom staff in recent years, in addition to being a driving force behind the exit of Arsene Wenger and the subsequent arrival of Unai Emery at the club.
