Allegri new tasks for Serie A 2012-13


AC Milan’s head coach Massimiliano Allegri has told their first priority to stay in top three in Serie A 2012-13 to participate in Champions League.

Allegri signed as a Milan coach in 2010, and he made big history by win Serie A title after 2003. His debut win was stumbled other teams, and he stopped the Inter Milan’s domination in title race.


Last term Milan lost their title by four points with Juventus, and they have sold Serie A top goal scorer and Milan’s top goal scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic to France club Paris St-Germain. They got bad response from fans for this transfer. He notched 28 goals in 32 appearances.

Allegri has told they have to face many competitive matches in upcoming new season of Serie A 2012-13. They should maintain their top position to join in Champions League 2013-14, and they should concentrate on title race as well as Champions League.

In Champions League 2011-12, Milan defeated by La Liga’s Barcelona. However, this time they have to make some changes in results in every tournament.

Allegri has to plan to lead his team, and he is in a position to prove himself to the World.

He said: “Our first objective is to remain among the top three in Italy and therefore qualify for the Champions League. In Europe our target is to get past the group phase, hopefully reaching the quarter-finals.”

So they will fight hard to regain their title win and Champions League.

Milan has won their last Champions League Cup in 2007, and that was their 8th Champions League cup. They have also won FIFA Club World Cup same year.
