Arsenal have stepped up their search for a new centre-back following the departure of Laurent Koscielny to French side, Bordeaux on Tuesday.
The transfer deal was officially made public this week after Koscielny forced his departure away from the club despite their desire to keep him.
However, Arsenal have lined up a number of defenders they can sign before the close of the summer transfer window. Reports disclosed that the Gunners are chasing the services of Juventus defender Daniel Rugani.
It is further reported that Arsenal have agreed personal terms with the defender, which is worth £4 million per season and that translates to £80,000 per week.
Juventus are also ready to let Rugani leave as he have not really nailed down a spot in the starting XI since he joined the Italian giants in the summer of 2015.
Signing Rugani will help solve the Gunners problem in the defence as he is relatively experienced and has age on his side.
Arsenal have made some fine signing this summer which include, Dani Cellabos, William Saliba and Nicolas Pepe, this has made them one of the teams to look out for in the new season.
Moreover, there are uncertainties surrounding the future of Shkodran Mustafi who the Arsenal fans want to see leave the club the club this summer due to his many blunders while defending.
