Arsenal are reportedly confident of bringing Celtic star Kieran Tierney to the Emirates Stadium over the next six days – but could another defensive addition follow the Scot through the door?
Arsenal have already been fairly busy in the current window, with most of their business coming over the past 10 days.
The Gunners have secured the permanent services of Brazilian winger Gabriel Martinelli, teenage defender William Saliba and Ivory Coast star Nicolas Pepe in a club-record deal, with Unai Emery spending over a combined £100 million on the three.
Emery has also brought in Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos on a season-long loan, beating rivals Tottenham to the player’s services last month.
And according to the Daily Express, the Gunners are confident of finally bringing Tierney to London, with Emery also reportedly eyeing up a central defender to join the 22-year-old at the club, but are two arrivals in six days realistic?
