AC Milan are already closing in on officially announcing Ivan Gazidis as a their new chief executive following a meeting in London.

Gazidis has now reportedly agreed a salary with the Serie A club and is now finalising the details of his new contract.

According to Sport Mediaset, Gazidis could now play a key role in helping AC Milan sign Ramsey.

The Italian club are interested in luring the 27-year-old to San Siro and would be willing to submit an offer in the January transfer window instead of signing him as a free agent next summer.

Unai Emery, however, has made it clear to Arsenal’s hierarchy that he wants Ramsey to remain at the club.
