It was a scoring debut for the Denmark International and Mezut Ozil scores once again to keep Arsenal four points clear at the top of the table. Arsenal kept 67% possession and smashed twenty shots towards McGregor.
Nicklas Bendtner started the scoring for Arsenal in the first minute with a fine cross delivered by Carl Jenkinson and the forward placing a header in the left corner leaving no chance for the Tiger’s goalkeeper. Mezut Ozil scored the second goal for the gunners, 46, by getting along with Ramsey down the left channel.
Hull city could not replicate the standards from their Liverpool win last week and remains in the second half of the table .
Tiger’s boss Steve Bruce: “The one thing you want to do is start well and they have scored a wonderful goal, we’ve been done on a one-two in a wide area, but it’s wonderful. Arsenal is confident enough and then when they go 1-0 up early on it becomes a difficult evening for us.
“I was delighted to get back into the game but lo and behold we did the same thing in the second half but later on we rolled our sleeves up otherwise it could have been embarrassing.”
Meanwhile, Wenger’s team secured their fourth consecutive home win as the former Real Madrid forward continues to impress the fans with his style of play.
