Arsenal have made official contact with Juventus over a possible deal to sign Moise Kean and the Serie A club could sell for just £22.4 million this summer, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
Moise came through the youth ranks at Bianconeri and has emerged as one of the most in-demand young attackers in Italian football since breaking into the main team with the teenager scoring 7 goals in 17 matches last season.
The 19-year-old striker has also registered two goals in three games for his country’s national team having previously represented Italy at various youth levels, however, his long-term future at the Allianz Stadium is in serious doubt.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio states Juventus are prepared to cash-in on the talent this summer as they plan to balance the books following the big-money signing of Matthijs de Ligt from Ajax.
Di Marzio says the Gunners have made contact with Juventus to express their interest in landing Kean but they will face plenty of competition as the report says Sevilla, Barcelona and Everton are also in the race to land the forward.
The Italian journalist claims the Old Lady are willing to sell Moise for between £22.4 million – £26.9 million [€25m-€30m] – which would be an absolute bargain in today’s market for a prodigy of his potential – but the Italian giants board may also demand a buy-back clause is included in any potential deal.
Unai Emery is in the transfer market for another forward after Danny Welbeck left the Emirates upon the expiration of his deal and the club have been strongly linked with the likes of Everton Soares, Wilfried Zaha and Nicolas Pepe in the latest weeks.
