Nabil Fekir wants end his long-term relationship with Ligue 1 side Lyon this summer, but French-based media outlet L’Equipe revealed he lacks suitors.
Despite his obvious quality and ability to make defense-splitting passes as a playmaker, the 25-year-old Frenchman is not getting the attention he deserves.
However, the media outlet as revealed by Sportwitness now suggests that Fekir has finally seen a new suitor in Arsenal, who are actively looking to bolster their squad before the close of the window.
Unai Emery is credited with a move for the world cup winner as part of his plans to have a midfield capable of creating much clear-cut opportunities for strikers to score.
Having said that, Fekir has a very slim chances of completing his dream move to the Premier League this summer because Arsenal are yet to make official bid for bid for his signature.
It is believed that the Gunners are financially incapable to complete big-money deal for any player this month and Fekir’s proposed switch to the Emirates Stadium may fall through.
The Frenchman was closed to joining the Reds in the previous summer window but Jurgen Klopp surprisingly made a last-minute U-turn due to the player’s injury record.
