Arsenal are keeping close tabs on Sampdoria duo Joachim Anderson and Dennis Praet, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
Sampdoria played host to Italian giants on Sunday in the final game of the Serie A season.
Danish centre-back Andersen has made 32 starts in the top flight during the current campaign, while playmaker Praet has contributed two goals and three assists from 33 outings.
Unai Emery has his eye on a number of big names this summer despite only having around £40 million to spend on new recruits if Arsenal fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
The 25-year-old is apparently available for around €20m, a price that is very much in Arsenal’s wheelhouse and could be the man identified to replace Aaron Ramsey.
The Belgian is under contract until 2021 with Sampdoria.
Andersen isn’t quite a new name in the Arsenal rumour mill, he was linked with us briefly at the end of 2011, but he is an underused one.
Still only 22, the central defender is reportedly also wanted by Tottenham who seem better placed to pay €40m required to land him unless Arsenal seal Champions League qualification on Wednesday evening.
