Arsenal fans loved what Rob Holding said as he joined the squad for their Europa League clash.

The Gunners are preparing to face Eintracht Frankfurt tonight.

Unai Emery will hope his side can go one better than their loss in last season’s final to Chelsea.

The manager has been criticised recently for his tactical decisions , including defence.

But the European fixture sees Holding, who picked up an ACL injury on his left knee against Manchester United last year, return to the squad.

And footage has emerged of the centre-back getting excited about his first away trip in nine months.

In the clip, the Gunners squad are boarding the plane for Germany.

The Englishman is walking up the steps with Calum Chambers.

And he says hello to the cameraman, as well as giving a statement of intent.

“Back in the mix,” Holding says.

The Gunners star then offers a cheeky smile before heading into the aircraft.

This footage was shared on the club’s official Twitter channel yesterday, where it has been viewed more than 180,000 times.

And fans made their feelings about the Englishman clear.

“Get him back in the starting XI,” one supporter said.

Another commented: “Play him – and don’t concede in Europe.”

While a third suggested who the 23-year-old should replace.

“Let me not see [David] Luiz anywhere,” they said.

And a fourth simply added: “Start him.”

But fans were left baffled at club legend Ian Wright’s new FIFA 20 rating .
