Danny Welbeck posted another injury update on Friday, as he continues his rehabilitation from two ankle surgeries.

However, there finally seems to be some light at the end of the tunnel for Welbeck, who has been participating in gym work at the Gunners’ London Colney training ground.

The 28-year-old was put through his paces as he performed stretches as part of his recovery.

Most recently, he posted a picture to his Instagram showing that he’s back in the Arsenal training centre undertaking physical exercises:

Welbeck’s current Arsenal contract expires in the summer, raising doubts as to whether he will play for the Gunners again, but his current focus is simply on getting fit.

Since joining Arsenal from Manchester United in 2014, Welbeck has scored 32 times in 126 games for the club.
