Arsenal have finally decided on transfer of defender wanted by Emery

The Gunners have seen their bid for Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney rejected on two occasions and they are reportedly set to end interest in his services.

The North London club have been trailing the Scott’s development since the start of the ongoing transfer market giving his awe-inspiring display for the Scottish champions last season.

Emery is impressed with the youngster’s adventurous nature and he believes Tierney will be effective when it comes to creating goalscoring opportunities.

According to Daily Mail, the former Sevilla and Paris Saint-German manager could unceremoniously end his desire to have the 21-year-old man in his team after seeing his latest £25m bid rejected by Celtic.

The British media outlet revealed that Celtic wanted an improved offer from the Gunners before deciding the player’s future  but Emery isn’t ready to go above the already-made bid.

With Nacho Monreal’s desire to up his game in the upcoming season and the return of Maitland-Nile from injury, missing out on Tierney’s services won’t be a huge loss to the North London club.

In fact, Arsenal won’t be affected by Emery’s reported decision to pull out of the race for Tierney’s services as the same source revealed that the Europa League finalists have all but completed their move for Saint-Etienne’s defender Williams Saliba.
