According to Spanish outlet Sport ES, Arsenal are plotting another approach for Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele ahead of the January transfer window.
Dembele joined Barca last summer from Dortmund in a deal potentially worth £135.5 million.
His debut season at the Camp Nou was hampered by a hamstring injury, but he started the 2018-19 campaign in decent fashion, netting five goals in six appearances in all competitions.
Bleacher Report claims Dembele could be tempted by a switch to England and has a number of friends in the Arsenal dressing room.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could play a vital role to tempt Barcelona’s Dembele to the Emirates Stadium, as the pair were friendly at their former club Borussia Dortmund.
The France international is a huge talent and was superb in his single season at Dortmund, scoring six goals and providing 12 assists in the 2016-17 Bundesliga.
Arsenal would be interested in a loan swoop for Dembele, with Liverpool having also been linked with Dembele earlier this year.
Last summer Dembele hinted at a move away from the Camp Nou and Arsenal were keen to thrash out a deal. However, Barça rejected the notion of selling the winger as Ernesto Valverde wanted him in the first team squad. Now the situation may have changed ahead of the January transfer window.
