Mohamed Elneny’s agent Alan Nazmy has arrived in London and travelled to London Colney to discuss his client’s exit from Arsenal, according to reports.
Elneny himself posted a picture of Nazmy on his Instagram story on Wednesday in London, before the agent added an update to his own story tagged ‘London Colney’ on Thursday. The actual picture clearly wasn’t of London Colney, but the tag made it clear that’s where he was.
According to El-Ahly.com, the agent was meeting with his client and with Arsenal to discuss a number of offers on the table from Turkey, Spain, France and Germany.
Meanwhile, Turkish Football report that Galatasaray are confident Elneny is open to a loan move, but they’ve yet to reach an agreement with Arsenal.
With Dani Ceballos joining and Joe Willock making the step up from the academy, Elneny is going to find it even more difficult than last season to earn a place in Arsenal’s starting lineup.
Given the midfielder only made 12 starts in all competitions in 2018/19, that’s not good news for him this season if he stays. A transfer would be in everyone’s best interest at this stage, with a couple of weeks of the European window to go.
