Arsenal are likely to lose their veteran defender Laurent Koscielny barely few days to the end of the summer transfer window.
Koscielny, 33, has been linked with a move to Rennes this summer as he is determined to leave Emirate Stadium.
However, Metro Sport in a latest report reveal that Bordeaux have also join in the race to sign the defender.
The report further hinted that Bordeaux officials which includes their Executive Director, Hugo Varela and their Sporting Director, Eduador Macia have travelled to London to get the deal done.
Bordeaux are reportedly ready to pay £9 million to Arsenal as transfer fee for Koscielny, whose contract runs out next summer.
Koscielny indicated his desire to leave the North London club after he refused to travel with the rest of the club for the Preseason Tour of America.
In fact, the last time he played for Arsenal was during the Europa League final against Chelsea last season.
Although manager Unai Emery still wants the veteran in his team, however, it would be best they let him leave.
Should Arsenal let go of Koscielny they would likely push for the arrival of Kieran Tierney from Celtic as his replacement before August 8th.
