Arsenal might be on the verge of confirming of Nicolas Pepe as their fourth summer signing, it appears Unai Emery will get all of his targets before the close of the window.
The Gunners have had breakthrough in talks to sign Kieran Tierney after their latest offer to Celtic, according to reports.
Tierney has been on the transfer radar of Arsenal since the start of the window but his bogus valuation has stood in the way of any transfer.
As we understand, Arsenal agreed to meet his £25million valuation but they proposed an installment payment plan but the Scottish club were not down with it and so, threw out the offer.
But now, Arsenal have agreed to meet his valuation but will pay a chunk of his fee now before paying a few in part later, reports the Daily Mail.
He’d become the fifth summer signing for Arsenal following the capture of Gabriel Martinelli, Dani Ceballos, William Saliba and Nicolas Pepe.
It is quite surprising to see Emery prioritise the signing of Tierney instead of an established centre-back.
But The Bhoys defender can fit into a back three or a back four formation, which is a massive boost for the Spanish manager.
Tierney has set his sight on completing the switch and Virgil Van Dijk has also talked up the quality of star left back.
