After foot-dragging earlier on in the transfer window, Arsenal have reached an agreement to sign Dani Ceballos on loan from Real Madrid, according to reports.
Ceballos moved from Real Betis to Real Madrid only two summers ago, and he has racked up 56 appearances for the Champions league record breakers.
He was a key figure in the Madrid team last season until the arrival of Zinedine Zidane, who relegated him to a bit part player.
The 22-year-old featured for the Spanish U21 side this summer, and had his stock increased with a series of barnstorming displays.
Ever since, he has been linked with a move to Tottenham but Arsenal are believed to be favourites to sign him.
And now, according to Goal, Arsenal have reached an agreement to sign the playmaker on a season long loan deal.
Saliba has the uncanny ability to retain ball possession possession and dictate play Santi Cazorla used to do.
Meanwhile, BBC Sport have reported that the Gunners have also reached a deal to sign William Saliba from Saint-Etienne in a £27m deal.
Arsenal stole a march on Tottenham to sign Saliba as well but the 18-year-old star will return to Saint-Etienne on loan for a year.
Arsenal are set to confirm the signing of both players are their second and third summer signing after the capture of Martinelli.
