Coach Unai Emery is determined to reinforce his team ahead of next season after a not so good experience last season.
With this, Arsenal FC are expected to conduct a lot of transactions this Summer transfer window this time around.
The latest reports revealed that the North London club are closing in on two players namely; Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid and William Saliba from Saint-Etienne.
Ceballos is a key target for Arsenal and it is reported that Emery has been able to convince him to move over to Emirate Stadium.
The Real Madrid midfielder would be a quality replacement for Aaron Ramsey, who moved to the Italian club, Juventus last season on free transfer.
Also, moving to Arsenal would be an opportunity for Ceballos to get more playing chances as the Los Blancos coach, Zinedine Zidane said that the 22-year-old is not part of his first team.
Another plus for Arsenal FC is that they will be able to sign him on loan and likely make the transfer permanent if he impresses at the club
The Gunners have also reportedly beaten Tottenham to the race of signing William Saliba from Saint-Etienne.
Saliba is considered one of the best young defenders in the French league, the only snag to the deal with Saint-Etienne is that the 18-year-old will not be able to move to Emirate until next season.
Saliba is believed to be would the long-term replacement for Laurent Koscielny as the report states that Arsenal have agreed a five-year deal with the French side worth £30 million.
