Emery’s men blew a 2-0 lead at Vicarage Road with two costly errors.

Sokratis Papastathopoulos was at fault for Watford’s first goal after giving the ball away in his own box.

David Luiz then gave away a penalty, bringing down Roberto Pereyra, with the Watford star then stepping up to fire past Bernd Leno.

And according to The Athletic, Gunners players are frustrated under Emery.

They say the players aren’t happy with Emery’s ‘repetitious’ training sessions.

However, The Athletic add that Emery is still popular with the players and they don’t want the Spaniard out.

Papastathopoulos was vocal after Arsenal’s draw at Watford, with the former Borussia Dortmund defender taking responsibility for their meltdown.

He said: “I think that I cost the game for the team. It was my mistake for something simple that I don’t have to do.

“I think this was the problem why we lose the three points. This is all about our responsibility and we have to do better.

“It was my mistake and today without my mistake, we would take the three points.

“I don’t want to speak about others. Today it was my mistake and this cost the game. Nothing else.

“The other guys tried their best. I don’t have to do this mistake.”
