Former Arsenal striker Ian wright has advised Alexandre Lacazette to make some changes to his style of play so he can become more effective.

Lacazette has adapted to the Premier League well, scoring five goals in the first nine games.

Despite his impressive adaptation, Wright thinks Lacazette should make subtle changes to his game in order to improve.

‘I love Lacazette,’ he told Match of the Day 2 (as reported by Metro Sport).

‘He’s a fantastic signing. ‘When he stretches teams, look at Ozil and Sanchez, they’ve got the space to run into.’

‘When he gets into this situation [in the penalty area], he finishes so so well. ‘I don’t want to see him come and getting involved in the link up play because we have enough players that can do that.

‘I would love to see him on the edge of defenders, and running into those little slots, stretching teams.’

Wenger recently claimed Lacazette can emulate Wright as they both have a lot in common.

So therefore, there is no better person to take advise from than the legendary Wright.

If making changes to his game will make Lacazette better, I am all for that. The French man is already a top striker, any further improvement will make him the best in the world and that’s what we want.
