Arsenal vs Liverpool: Klopp make THREE Changes in Strong 4-3-3 starting lineup

Naby Keita (thigh) and Jordan Henderson (hamstring) are ruled out of Saturday’s trip to Arsenal, so James Milner looks a strong candidate to replace Adam Lallana to shore things up in midfield.

Jurgen Klopp confirmed that Mohamed Salah has an inflammation of the tendon in his wrist but the issue has “no influence” on the Egyptian’s availability this weekend.

Klopp’s major decision appears to be in defence and whether to deploy Trent Alexander-Arnold or Joe Gomez at right-back, with both players having featured there against “big six” sides this season.

Gomez might be preferred to combat the threat of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on the Arsenal left, although with the Gunners potentially having issues at left-back Klopp may decide to go for the jugular and unleash the more attack-minded Alexander-Arnold down the right.

Dejan Lovren has started the last three Premier League matches at centre-back, but will miss out if Gomez resumes his partnership with Virgil van Dijk.

Xherdan Shaqiri offers an alternative either in the front three positions or, in a less likely scenario, alongside Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino in a 4-2-3-1.
