Arsenal are weighing up a January loan move for Barcelona winger Malcom.
The Brazilian moved to the Nou Camp in the summer at the 11th hour after Barca hijacked a proposed move to Roma.
SPORT report Arsenal want to snap up the 21-year-old on loan with Malcom believed to be open to the switch.
The Gunners are interested in the midfielder and have made the Spanish club aware that they would be willing to move for Malcom in January if he were to be made available.
But Arsenal, who would be willing to sign the Brazilian on loan, face strong competition from their rival team, Tottenham, who are ready to spend up to €50m (£44m).
Tottenham wanted to sign Malcom in January but Bordeaux refused to entertain any offers until the end of the season.
The youngster has a lot to offer to the club. He is pacy, is a brilliant dribbler, a good crosser, a decent passer of the ball and is especially good at taking shots from outside the box. As a substitute, Malcom could make a huge impact. He has just made 2 appearances this season.
He is likely to be in demand though and it remains to be seen if – and where – Barca would let him go.
