Bayern have endured a nightmare run of late, going winless in their last four matches across all competitions. With back-to-back Bundesliga losses, they’ve dropped to sixth in the standings.
The German giants have struggled under new boss Kovac who took over from Jupp Heynckes at the end of last season.
This weekend’s 3-0 drubbing at home to Borussia Monchengladbach made it four games without a win in all competitions.
It means Bayern Munich find themselves sixth in the table and four points behind table-toppers Borussia Dortmund, the only unbeaten team in the league.
According to Bild, the Bavarian side are already compiling a shortlist of potential replacements at the Allianz Arena.
Zidane and Wenger, fellow Frenchman Laurent Blanc is also thought to be on the list.
