Arsenal will not be signing Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the near future as the Blues have decided they want to loan him out in January rather than sell him, according to the Daily Cannon.

Arsenal have been rumored to be considering a move for the youngster who is said to be frustrated by his lack of chances under Maurizio Sarri this season.

However, the rumor has been squashed as ESPN reports that the club still see a future for the midfielder at the Stamford bridge and would rather send him out on loan.

The 22-year-old impressed on loan at Crystal Palace last season earning himself a call up to the England squad that finished in fourth place at the World Cup.

He had been expected to establish himself on his return to the Bridge, however things haven’t gone as planned as he has made just one start this season, and has played a total of 99 minutes of football in all competitions this season.

He has failed to even make a Premier League match day squad this season and will now move out on loan to continue his development.
