Barcelona and Chelsea set to complete ‘imminent’ swap deal

Barcelona are hoping they could do business with Chelsea in January for Willian after having three bid rejected for the Brazilian star.

La Sexta via the Metro indicates that Barca have held talks with the Brazilian’s representatives and will now make another move in January.

The latest report suggests Malcom could be included as part of the deal. The 21-year-old could be set to leave the Nou Camp after struggling to make an impact after his £36.5m summer move for Bordeaux.

The youngster has flattered to deceive since a controversial summer move from Bordeaux and is unlikely to be part of their long-term future.

Chelsea showed an interest in Malcom prior to his switch to Spain, so it is a deal that could benefit all parties.

Willian has been a great success since moving to Stamford Bridge from Anzhi Makhachkala in 2013, winning two Premier League titles and proving to be an important member of their attack.

The Brazilian international only have a year left on his contract at Stamford Bridge and the Blues could be ready to cash-in.
