Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira has the choice between a summer move to either Arsenal or Wolves this summer, but which of the two clubs should he join?
According to reports in Italy, as cited on the Mirror, Khedira has been given the green light to leave Juventus and will even get the opportunity to pick his next club himself.
Arsenal and Wolves are both keen and the German midfielder now has a decision to make.
Given the fact that Khedira will turn 33 next year, game time may not be the deciding factor for the German. He only made 10 league appearances for Juventus last season and with the physical demands of the Premier League, it’s unlikely he’d be relied upon as a regular at either club.
For Arsenal, a deal to sign Khedira would draw similarities with the one that saw Stephan Lichtsteiner join the club. Having a player like the former Real Madrid man would be hugely beneficial to the club’s less experienced midfielders such as Matteo Guendouzi and Lucas Torreira.
