Burnley vs Man Utd: Mourinho to make TWO changes in Strong 4-2-3-1 formation

Ashley Young is available again following his three-match ban and could return for the trip to Burnley. United have kept clean sheets in the last three with Luke Shaw at left-back, though.

Antonio Valencia returned at right-back in the 3-0 win over Stoke City and should retain his start. Phil Jones and Chris Smalling are likely to form the centre-back partnership once more, with Marcos Rojo and Victor Lindelof the alternatives.

Jose Mourinho used a 4-2-3-1 formation on Monday night, but for the trip to Turf Moor, Ander Herrera or Marouane Fellaini may be considered to join Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba to help bolster the midfield.

That would potentially put Juan Mata’s start at risk, with Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial appearing more suited to playing either side of Romelu Lukaku in a front three.

Marcus Rashford provides another option out wide should Mourinho want to freshen things up. Eric Bailly, Michael Carrick and Zlatan Ibrahimovic remain sidelined, while Daley Blind is ruled out with a small injury.
