Real Madrid star Keylor Navas is planning to reject Chelsea if offered as bait for any deal involving Thibaut Courtois, reports say.

Real Madrid want to sign Courtois from Chelsea in a transfer that would plunge Navas’ long-term future into doubt.

The Costa Rica international has helped the club win the Champions League twice ever since his arrival from Levante in the summer of 2014.

But, amid concerns over his performances this season, reports have claimed this could be his final campaign at the Bernabeu.

Courtois is on Real Madrid’s radar with the Belgium international recently hinting he would be open to a move away from Stamford Bridge.

Yet Spanish outlet Don Balon say Navas could reject a move if offered as bait.

Should Chelsea lose Courtois, they have little in reserve.

Willy Caballero is their current No 2 but, at 36, the Blues would be taking a risk if they were to promote him.

Chelsea have been linked with Atletico’s Jan Oblak as a replacement.

But the Slovenia international is likelier to join PSG or Liverpool, with both clubs sniffing about.

Navas could appeal to Chelsea given his experience and all he has achieved over in La Liga.

But the player himself is reportedly ready to snub a move to west London.

Don Balon say Navas also has no interest in joining Manchester United.

The goalkeeper nearly swapped places with David De Gea back in 2015 but it appears that ship has sailed.
