Reports making the round claims Chelsea are determined to win a £70million ($90.08m) battle with Chelsea for USA sensation Christian Pulisic.

Pulisic is contracted to Dortmund until 2020 but is understood not to be engaging in contract extension talks, with the young gun eyeing a move to the Premier League.

Both Chelsea and Liverpool have been linked to a deal for Pulisic.

“England, the Premier League, is where lots of kids dream of playing so there is no reason why one day I won’t play here,” Pulisic said before playing for the USA against England.

“We are having a great year at Dortmund and I am enjoying every moment of that.

“Then when the time comes for me to talk in the breaks about my future, that’s when those things will happen.”

Dortmund seem resigned to needing to cash in on Pulisic — who has fallen behind England sensation Jadon Sancho in the pecking order — at the end of the season.

The Daily Mail reports Chelsea are keen to push for a January deal for the young winger, with a potential transfer ban looming.

The report also suggests the Reds could consider offloading midfielder Fabinho to help fund the deal.
