Chelsea forward who is currently on loan to Leeds have suffered another injury setback.

The Blues forward Izzy Brown who is currently on loan to Leeds has been ruled out until at least late-October, according to reports.

Brown is recovering from an ACL injury which he suffered in January whilst playing for Brighton he limped out of the game and underwent assessment and when Leeds took him on loan, they thought he’d be back in action by early October.

Manager Marcelo Bielsa has revealed that Brown hasn’t even begun kicking a ball yet.

“It’s not good that a player plays 45 minutes before another game but even worse is when you need a player to play a game and he doesn’t have the fitness. It’s better to have more activity,” said Bielsa.

It’s been a long time since he played, he still needs to recover. He hasn’t started to play with the ball, he hasn’t played football with us so far. It’s impossible to say when he will be fit. It won’t be a short time.

Brown played an influential role in Huddersfield Town’s promotion campaign from the Championship last season.
