Chelsea have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Zenit St-Petersburg midfielder Leandro Paredes, according to reports in Italy.
Maurizio Sarri is reportedly looking for a replacement for Cesc Fabregas, who recently joined French League side AS Monaco.
Paredes has not done badly in the Russian Premier League, scoring three times and assisting two others in 15 topflight appearances.
Daily Star quoting La Gazette dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira reports that Chelsea are waiting on the club to accept a €30m (£26.8m) offer before the deal can be completed.
Schira tweeted: “Chelsea wants to close Leandro Paredes from Zenit.
“Marina Granovskaia has offered €30 million for him and awaits an answer. He wants to leave from Russia: agreement to sign a contract until 2023 (€4.5 million per year).”
