Bayern Munich President Uli Hoeness has resumed his verbal spat with Arsenal star Mesut Ozil after labelling the former German international ‘Crap’, according to the Daily Express.

Mesut Ozil retired from the German national team following an abysmal World Cup campaign in Russia, he citied racism and discrimination as his reasons for quitting.

The news provoked the first attack from Hoeness who claimed that the 30-year-old playmaker has not been at his best since the 2014 World Cup. “Ozil has been playing s**t for years, he won his last tackle before the 2014 World Cup.” He said.

He attacked the midfielder’s form for not just the national team, but also for Arsenal, and also his personal life.

“Whenever [Bayern] played against Arsenal, we played over him because we knew that was their weak point.

“His 35 million followers- that don’t exist in the real world- are convinced he has played sublimely when he completes a pass.

He has now resumed the rant again “I should not have said s***, but crap.

“My opinion of Mesut is clear, I wanted to make a point of diverting the conversation back towards sport.

“I want to divert it away from racism and integration.

Ozil has not been the most consistent player in football, but the extent of the attack seems somewhat out of place, given that he has won the German player of the year award five times.
