Bayern Munich are set to renew their interest in Alexis Sanchez, according to reports.
Sanchez is being linked with a move away from the Emirates, the Chilean’s contract expires at the end of the season and he’ll be free to enter into talks with suitors in January.
He’s been linked with the likes of Paris Saint Germain and Manchester City since last summer but ESPN via Football.London are now claiming Bayern Munich will join the race to sign the Chilean.
The report claims the Bundesliga champions want to strengthen their attack in January due to recent injuries to Robert Lewandoski and Thomas Muller and sees Sanchez as the perfect signing.
Ancelloti had tried to sign the Chilean last summer but Bayern were put off by Sanchez’s wage demands and Arsenal’s price tag, which eventually made them turn to James Rodriguez.
It does seem they are prepared to renew their interest now that Arsenal may have to accept a cut-price fee for the Chilean.
The Chilean has shown he is one of Premier League’s best players and selling him to a rival will be shooting ourselves on the foot. So I wouldn’t really mind if he ends up at Bayern.
