Paris Saint Germain midfielder Yacine Adli has spoken on his failed move to Arsenal last summer and insists he doesn’t regret the decision to snub the Gunners, according to the Mirror.

The 18-year-old was very close to joining the Gunners last summer after holding talks with the Premier league side, but a last-minute change of mind saw him sign professional terms with PSG instead, after receiving promise of first team football from Thomas Tuchel.

However, he failed to make a single senior appearance for the club and ended up joining Bordeaux last month in a £4 million move.

Speaking on his failed summer move, he insists he does not regret snubbing the Gunners to remain at Paris Saint Germain.

I don’t regret anything. Even if I didn’t play once over the past six months in Paris, I’m glad I chose them,” Adli told Le Parisien.

I was around great players every day. I progressed, but that’s in the past.

“Now, I’m focused on Bordeaux.”

The Gunners went on to sign another youngster Matteo Guendouzi from Lorient after failing to sign Adli, and the 19-year-old has impressed this season, becoming a regular under Unai Emery.

Meanwhile in other news, the Gunners have confirmed in a statement on the club website that midfielder Aaron Ramsey will join Juventus on a free transfer at the end of the season.

He has always been a consummate professional and will always have a special place in the hearts and memories of Arsenal fans around the world,” the club said.
