Arsenal have postponed the official confirmation of Nicolas Pepe’s move from Lille.
Arsenal reached a £72m plus add-ons agreement with Lille for the player’s transfer and he has put pen to paper on a five year deal with us, though subject to an official confirmation.
Pepe arrived Arsenal’s London Colney training on Tuesday for medical and he has successfully underwent the same.
He would become the Gunners second signing of the summer after deals were brokered for Gabriel Martinelli, Dani Ceballos and William Saliba.
Arsenal were reportedly restricted to only a £45 million transfer budget and the signing of Pepe has come as a huge surprise considering the said budget.
Pepe is known for his pace and trickery with the ball on his feet. He can dribble, score as well as provide assists for his teammates.
While the fans of Arsenal have been sitting on the edge of the seat over the official confirmation of the deal, they have to wait a little longer, reports Arseblog.
The club cannot just bring in other Photographers as Gimp Lens is a contagious condition. It is even possible that the Photography area has been quarantined for now.
The player has already passed medical and all that’s left is obviously the photograph sessions.
After scoring 22 goals and providing 11 assists in Ligue 1 last season, he’d’d be a good superb addition to the attacking line of Arsenal that proved to be the third best in the league last season.
