Arsenal and Liverpool are still in the hunt for Monaco winger, but will make a move for him in the summer transfer window, according to the Daily Mail.

The Gunners are still interested in the playmaker despite signing Henrikh Mhkitaryan recently, but they will wait till the summer to land him as they feel his price is too high at the moment.

They have been linked to Argentine winger Cristian Pavon from Boca Juniors and Malcom from Bordeaux, but their North London rivals Tottenham have overtaken them in the race to sign Malcom, as they feel he is still too raw for his valuation.

Liverpool are yet to replace Phillipe Coutinho and have long identified the Monaco man as his replacement, but like Arsenal, they will wait until the summer to bring him to Anfield.

Atletico Madrid are also interested in Lemar as Anotoine Griezmann continues to be linked to Barcelona, however it is believed that the 22-year-old would prefer a move to England rather than Spain.

The Frenchman is currently valued at £90 million by his club and is more willing to move now than he was in the summer when he rejected a move to Arsenal.

  1. Forget Lemar! The player turned Arsenal down to wait for Liverpool! So why buy a player who doesn’t want to play for you?
