Arsenal’s new star Dani Ceballos insists that the Gunners will have “absolute respect, but no fear” heading to Liverpool on Saturday.
The summer signing has no experience of his new club’s recent results against Liverpool on Merseyside, where they have shipped 12 goals in their last three visits including a 5-1 loss last season.
Both sides head into the game as the only two Premier League outfits to win both of their league fixtures so far this season, and Ceballos is determined to keep the feelgood factor flowing after the wins over Newcastle and Burnley.
He tweeted to Gunners fans:
“Preparing this Saturday’s match in Anfield.
“We know it will be a tough match against the European champion. Absolute respect, but no fear. We go all out! Let’s go Gunners!

Midfielder Matteo Guendouzi is in a similarly defiant mood.
“Last year was not our finest hour but it’s very different to last season, it’s a new game and new team so I don’t see why it would be the same result,” he told Sky Sports .
“We’ve had a much better start as well – last year we started with two losses but this year we are already six points up.
“We have a better team overall and we’re feeling good about ourselves, we have a good team and we believe in ourselves.
“I know we can do really well, we are going there to win and I believe we can beat any Premier League side.
“David Luiz brings a lot of experience and is a very comprehensive defender.
“Ceballos is a very technical player and played excellently against Burnley , while Pepe is a player I know well from France.
“I think all three bring a lot of strength and positive aspects to the team.”
