Tottenham have taken the lead in the race to sign Paris Saint Germain outcast Lucas Moura and are set to complete his signing in the next 48 hours, according to the Telegraph.
The Brazilian is believed to have already agreed personal terms with the North London side, but Sky Sports understands that Tottenham are yet to agree terms with PSG over a fee, with the French side said to be demanding around £23 million.
Lucas Moura has already been shown around Tottenham training ground and is believed to be keen on a move to the side to play under Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.
When asked about Moura’s possible transfer, Pochettino said: “We will see what happens in the last few days [of the window].”
“There’s a lot of rumours about different players, you know I never talk about rumours,”
Tottenham will have more talks with PSG as they look to wrap up this signing before the window shuts, though they will face competition from Valencia, Napoli and Dortmund if they sell Aubameyang to Arsenal.
