According to a report via the Express, Thierry, father of Chelsea player, Kylian, has confirmed that his son would be shipped out on loan to a club in Spain this summer.
Kylian, younger brother of Eden Hazard, joined Chelsea last summer from Ujpest on a three-year deal.
The 23-year-old, however, did not make any first-team appearance for the Blues last season and spent the campaign in the under-23 developmental squad.
His dad said he will now spend the 2018/19 campaign on loan in Spain.
“Kylian has two years contract with Chelsea but will be loaned out,” Thierry told Hiet Nieuwsblad
“He did a test at VVV in the Netherlands but that did not happen. Now there is a chance in Spain for him.”
Kylian’s immediate elder sibling Thorgan, who plies his trade with Borussia Monchengladbach, won’t be on the move before the close of the German transfer window.
“Thorgan stays with Monchengladbach. At one point, Valencia was concrete and I spoke with the club in Spain,” Thierry said.
“Nothing has come of it, but that is not bad. He has two years of contract left.”
