Arsenal are days away from completing their move for Scottish left-back Kieran Tierney as reports claim they have reached personal agreement with the youngster.

According to Football Insider, the 22-year-old has ignored Tottenham’s offer and has come to terms with the North London club.

The report claim the 22-year-old has agreed to sign a five-year contract with the North London club which will see him pocket £75,000 as weekly wages.

This will come as great news to Unai Emery whose desire is to capture an attack-minded fullback before the end of the summer window on the 8th of next month.

However, Tierney’proposed move to the Emirates Stadium is subjected to the outcome of the ongoing negotiations between Celtic and Arsenal.

It is believed that both sides are yet to reach a conclusion regarding the player’s financial value, though, reporters say that £25m is what the Gunners are willing to release for his services.

Since signing a six year contract extension in 2017, the youngster has seen his fame risen up to that point where two Premier League giants are competing for him.

He helped his team to three major titles last season and his individual performances continue to improve regularly.

Meanwhile, Arsenal continue their preparation for next season with an inspiring 2-1 victory over Bayern Munich on Wednesday.

An own-goal from Bayern’s defender and a late winner from Eddie Nketiah were enough to see the Gunners emerged victorious over the Allianz Arena outfits who scored a goal via Robert Lewandowski’s brilliant shot.
