So far we have been talking about Arsenal signing new players this summer with nothing much being said about players that are to sold.
Well, it looks as if Arsenal FC are finally ready to give Carl Jenkinson a nod to leave the Emirates Stadium to join Crystal Palace, who have taken interest in him this summer.
According to the Sun, Crystal Palace are ready to offer £5 million for the 27-year-old defender.
The deal would suit all parties as Jenkinson is not a regular in the Gunners team and moving to Crystal Palace would give him the luxury of more playing chances following the departure of Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Also, Arsenal would be able to make some money to fund their summer transfer outlay.
Carl Jenkinson joined Arsenal in 2011 and has so far made just 70 appearances for the Gunners. He has also had loan spells at West Ham and Birmingham City.
Despite the change of management at Arsenal, Jenkinson has been unable to convince Unai Emery with his performance.
Arsenal will not miss Jenkinson should he join the Seagulls as they have Bellerin, who is set to return from injury and Maitland-Niles doing better at the back.
