The Daily Cannon reports that Alexis Sanchez has agreed personal terms with Manchester City and will be joining them this month, despite Wenger insisting that he hasn’t received an offer.

Last week, Wenger told reporters that the Gunners haven’t received a bid, but TMW says that City have agreed a £32 million deal with Arsenal, which will see Alexis joining in January. They also claim the Chilean will earn £12 million on a three and half year contract.

Judging from the time gap between Wenger denying receiving any offers for Alexis and the report surfacing on TMW it’s either City completed the fastest deal in history or Wenger openly lied in a press conference. Either option seems unlikely, so the news is most likely a rumor.

Nevertheless, there’s a big chance Manchester City will make a January move after their failed summer move, and if Arsenal can sort out a replacement in time, they will accept a reasonable bid for the winger.

We’ll have to wait for the coming days to find out if there is any truth to the rumours. whichever way, Alexis Sanchez transfer is going to be an intriguing one.
