Finally, French player, Laurent Koscielny has completed a permanent move from Arsenal to French Ligue 1 club, Bordeaux.
The announcement was made on Tuesday after the French club paid £4.3 million to Arsenal to seal the transfer deal for centre-back defender.
BBC Sports report that Kolscielny underwent his medical on Tuesday at the French club.
With this the French defender has finally returned to his home country having spent nine years in the EPL.
Arsenal wanted to keep the 33-year-old defender at Emirates Stadium at least till the end of his contract in 2020 but he had gone ahead to force his move away from the club by refusing to travel on the club’s preseason tour of the United States.
The Gunners in their statement to confirm the transfer said,
“We decided to sanction his move to Bordeaux once we agreed acceptable transfer terms.
“We thank Laurent for his contribution to the club and wish him all the best for the future.”
Arsenal fans have taken to the social media to react to the departure of Koscielny.

The English side are, however, already working out plans to sign a new defender with Kieran Tierney topping the list despite his injury.
The Gunners are also in talks with Nottingham Forest on the departure of Carl Jenkinson while they still await transfer bids for Shkodran Mustafi.
