Arsenal have been handed a double fitness boost ahead of their Premier League game against Southampton.
Football.london report that both Kieran Tierney and Dani Ceballos should be available for selection against the Saints when domestic football returns.
A hamstring problem forced Ceballos off agianst Vitoria in the Europa League, while Arsenal have been managing Tierney carefully after his recent injury troubles.
Tierney will be a player that Arsenal fans want to see start against Southampton and it’s a decision that Emery must consider.
Even as a defender, he’s somebody who will excite supporters and they need that inject of energy after a difficult spell for the club.
His attacking nature will help the Gunners get on the front foot against a struggling Southampton side, that really, they should be dealing with relatively comfortably.
It could also be a game for Ceballos to try and get back to his best. His impact has been diminishing in recent months as he fails to repeat the great form he showed at the start of the season.
