The Express claims Manchester United are suitors for Bayern Munich playmaker James Rodriguez.

Playmaker Rodriguez’ long-term future at Bayern is in doubt, with the club languishing behind Dortmund in the Bundesliga title race.

United are keen on signing the Colombian and could well sell off flop Alexis Sanchez in order to make it happen.

The Premier League giants were touted as a potential destination for Rodriguez in the summer of 2017.

However, he ended up joining Bayern Munich from Real Madrid instead in a two-season loan deal.

But it looks like his time in Germany could now be up.

Sport Bild say Rodriguez is keen on a move, with crunch talks over a January transfer wanted.

Bayern have no interest in letting the attacker go, but it’s said clubs are already queuing up to get him.

Italian giants Juventus are one side who are keen on a deal, with English teams also said to be sniffing around.
