Dominic Solanke has been urged to leave Liverpool and join Rangers by his Reds team-mate Ovie Ejaria.
Ejaria would encourage Solanke to follow his path by making a loan move from Liverpool to Rangers if the opportunity arises in January. said: “Rangers are a very good club and I’ve enjoyed my time here so far.
“If I was to speak to Dom about it, I would only have good things to say about Rangers.
“Dom is a very good player. I’ve known him for a very long time. He’s another goalscorer. He scores a lot of goals, so if he was to come to Rangers in January, it would be a very good addition to the squad.
“It would also increase the strength in depth in the squad and he would be a very good addition. And don’t forget Kyle Lafferty, who is another top striker.”
Steven Gerrard has been linked with reviving his interest in Solanke as the Anfield club weigh up whether to allow him to leave on a temporary basis.
Crystal Palace are among the English Premier League clubs keen on the England Under-21 striker but, speaking after Saturday’s 3-0 win over Livingston, Ejaria has little doubt Solanke would make a hugely positive impact if Gerrard was able to lure him to Glasgow for the second half of the campaign.
