ESPN FC pundit Stewart Robson has made a bold statement regarding Chelsea’s new signing Jorginho.

Robson claims Jorginho won’t be the outstanding signing that Chelsea FC are expecting despite paying a whopping sum of £57m.

The former Napoli man joined the club this summer as he because Maurizio Sarri’s first signing having replaced Antonio Conte.

Former Arsenal star Robson is still unsure whether Jorginho will ultimately prove a successful Chelsea FC signing.

“I don’t think he is the outstanding player that people expect him to be for Chelsea,” Robson told ESPN FC.

“He hasn’t got great athleticism. I am not sure he is the player Chelsea think he is going to be.”

The Brazilian midfielder was heavily linked with a move to Manchester City but opted out to sign for Chelsea because of Sarri and promises of regular game time.

Jorginho struggled in Chelsea FC’s 2-0 loss to Manchester City in the Community Shield at Wembley.
