According to a report from Rai Sport, as cited on Calciomercato, the Juventus are concerned by their inability to come to an agreement over a new deal for Brazilian defender Alex Sandro who has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea and Manchester City.

Sandro has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, but no deal has ever materialised.

Meanwhile, Tuttosport, claims Real Madrid have directly proposed the exchange of Marcelo for Alex Sandro; a deal which might intrigue Juventus.

It is understood Ronaldo wants to reunite with his Brazilian friend in Turin, while Marcelo himself has seemed open to changing air.

Therefore, since Real Madrid reportedly have offered to go ahead with a nearly straight swap, the Bianconeri might decide to accept the offer.

Juventus and Sandro’s negotiations for a new contract have clearly hit a stalemate, with the left-back looking for a hefty raise from his current €2.8m per season.

The Brazilian has been touted as a potential target for Chelsea for many years, with the club keen to sign him during Antonio Conte’s time at the club.

He is believed to be a player still in Chelsea’s sights, despite Marcos Alonso recently signing a new deal at Stamford Bridge.

Manchester City are also known to be admirers of the player, while Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United have also been linked in the past.
